To start the DMR card today I reasoned that a one mile turf race where approximately 80% of the contenders want to be up close could produce some mayhem. So going against the grain I landed on one of the two closers in the race the one who has a hybrid east to west ship involved.
Imagine my surprise when my m/l longshot ballooned up to 4X what I expected. Call me foolish but figures earned in long distance races don\'t necessarily translate to near sprint races down at old Del Mar.
So #two is too too pricey to pass up.
