Off topic post - Big Brown and IEAH
« on: May 30, 2018, 09:08:30 PM »
I came across this interesting article today. I knew there were nefarious things going on around the barn but never to this extent. Being relatively new to the game (4 years or so), I’d love to get the thoughts on what the experts thought about this as it was happening. Assuming most here were well entrenched in the sport at the time this happened, I’m curious what the scuttlebutt was during the time this all went down.

Thanks in advance!

1) The article is 5 years old but brings back some memories.

2) The article does not mention one of the more bizarre aspects of Big Brown/ Dutrow/IEAH\'s epic Belmont fail:

Thanks Richie. Interesting articles. I\'ll admit, I\'m quite fascinated by this story. How so much corruption could happen in the modern age of the 2000\'s. As a horseplayer at the time, did you suspect anything like this was going on? ... I\'ll certainly be digging into a rabbit hole today. I\'m not implying anything negative about the sport, as I still love the game.

Forgive the off topic post. I figured it was a slow time around here and thought I\'d pick the brains of the people around here.
