 Not sure why this particular race got so much attention, they rarely pick up on betting \'events\' in the press , unless some horse drops from 10-1 to 6/5  at the 1/8 pole.

 Anyhow, since I have so much free time , I dug a little, and there\'s enough information in the story to figure out what happened here.
