? to TG - Derby Undercard

I just read in the DRF that King\'s Command had to be euthanized, I had no idea there was even a breakdown.  Of course, I couldn\'t even see the horses running by me from my crappy grandstand seats, but oh well.

I noticed in the red-board room that you had picked King\'s Command off 3 recent negative numbers.  Was this pick based on the fact that the odds were high?  I thought you were one of the biggest proponents of the \"3 negative number\" theory causing a bounce.  Not to mention this was a sprinter, even more likely to bounce.  Just curious about this selection....

It was basically a pair of neg. 2\'s followed by a zero. Yes, I thought those efforts might hurt him, but he was the best horse, at a price, and at least 2 of his last 3 were good here.

I thought Amosses horse was the play @ 20-1 ,if the track had been kinder to closers I he would have been no worse than 2nd .Both races at 7f were 2\'s I don\'t think the other horse could run even close to that @ 7f both because of the big efforts and added distance
