Have only seen a handfull of races so far; looks like wide, deep closing moves do well.

Is rail speed dead?? Plays a lot different than
the the old one mile layout did...comments??

all of the winners on the main yesterday either wired them, or chased just off the pace. i think the surface was favoring speed. with the big turns, i think we will see a fair amount of closers run well, but the crew will have to make a few minor changes. the turf has been playing extremely fast, but fair in my opinion. just when i thought the closers might be having the best of it, the romans horse took them all the way on the lead in the f&m feature.
