Word is that Arroyo\'s saddle slipped on Mr. Sword in the Lane\'s End, and chart notes don\'t show it because Pedersen asked them not to print it and make her look incompetent after Paavo\'s did the same thing the week before. Very curious if anyone can see it on a tape, it certainly would explain the dance steps when tiring in the stretch.

Pedersen would seem to have alot to learn. She over races her horses and appears to be unable to tie a saddle on lately.She\'s the poster person for the \"too soon\"theory. Only since Juan Serey took over at the farm has there been some improved performances at this barn.

Ernie P. is a good guy who spent millions on his stock and could surely get a first class trainer. Maybe he\'s-----. Forget it, this is a family board.

I don\'t see it on the replay.  Can\'t say for sure it didn\'t happen, but if it did, I don\'t see it.  The horse looked leg weary in the stretch, that\'s it.  

Trainers can make requests with regards to the chart notes?  That is another item that gives me great comfort..........

I really don\'t think there has been that much improvement/ performance from the Paraneck Stable recently. I think they got on an incredible roll when racing moved to AQ (where the Paraneck horses are stabled) in October, and the roll carried over to the opening of the Inner Tube. A good deal of recent Paraneck success has been shipping to Laurel. I believe you would find that her NYRA stats from January 1 - March 30 are ordinary.

As for Paavo, great job by Alan Garcia, but the horse ran about the same race as Galloping Grocer, Byanosejoe (possibly done in by running on the worst part of the track, pending verification) and Naughty New Yorker (certainly done in by an incompetent ride).

What really fascinates me is that before the Paraneck runners got in gear in October, Paragallo announced (it was in the Form)that he was cutting back his operation drastically and nothing else ever came of that.

It would be appalling if the DRF chart maker withheld info on a saddle slip at the request of a trainer. Even the greatest trainers have had saddles slip, but twice in graded stakes within two weeks is probably some sort of record.

I think we can say with absolute certainty that Buffalo Springfield ran on performance enhancing drugs.

I watched the replay of the Lanes End myself, and if arroyo\'s saddle slipped it didn\'t slip much. We\'re going with a trouble mark because our trackman gave it to us, but it looked to me like Arroyo had pretty good control of the horse.
