Wow! This is a tough one. Nine betting interests among 11 entrants (ten will go), and I could make a case for all of them except #4 Log Jam.
From a pick six standpoint (there\'s a $200k double carryover), the 1/1A entry of Doc Cheney and He\'s a Pioneer looks strongest from a \"most likely winner\" standpoint, but both have questions. Doc Cheney burned a lot of money when PUVO as the 7-to-5 favorite last out, and He\'s a Pioneer looks best when going a distance around one turn (seven furlongs to a mile).
Lord Louis fits the class, but I\'m always weary of lifetime turfers going back to dirt at this age. Again and Again looks to offer some value as a speed threat and gate-to-wire winner at this class (albeit at seven furlongs) at Saratoga.
#3 Don\'t Park Now loves sealed tracks but is winless on the Aqu inner and only 1/9 on fast going. #6 Taking the Redeye is coming off a top and the shape of this race could be similar.
The one entry would be my \"A\" selection with #s 6 and 9 on as many tickets as I could afford, and they\'re certainly the value in any pick N sequences.
Thoughts?
