Looks like we have a Big Brown Killer
« on: May 10, 2008, 06:20:45 PM »
Casino Drive looked Pretty damn good today...I needed him to lose for my Pick 4s but what a nice performance considering he was not cranked for this one...Looks like Big Brown might not stroll through this series after all...Better than honour has got to be placed among the greatest broodmares ever list if her offspring can win 3 Belmont\'s in a row...

Here is next year\'s potential Belmont winner by her:  Probably a smart future book bet on this one..

I\'ll be interested to see what the figure is given he was on the rail and it was a one-turn route, but all in all, definitely a big performance.  If nothing else, he will definitely be fresher than BB in the Belmont.

Somewhere out there Woody Stephens has raised his arm in his grave and proclaimed, \"You see this watch here. This marks my five straight Belmont Stakes wins. Better Than Honour will never match my five straight Belmont Stakes wins.\"

The horse did look good but in all seriousness, what did he beat at all? These weren\'t even Grade III US animals. Tomcito is fraudulent at best. This year\'s crop of three year old colts is horrific IMO. Brown still towers.

Besides - if Japan is seriously going to try and knock off BB for a Triple Crown - they should send their best Japanese jock to ride their hope. That would be the sporting thing to do

But, he did it in a very good time.  Don\'t care who you beat if you go 1 1/8 in 1:47+.

Remember at Belmont that\'s a 1 turn race.

Everyone needs to remember this horse was not fully cranked..He beat up Tomcito the same way Big Brown beat up on Tomcito.
also...
Why would you want an overseas jockey riding your horse in America...No offense to the overseas guys but on dirt in the U.S. I want a U.S.dirt jockey..
