Am I reading between the lines that Steve Asmussen isn\'t thrilled about the prospect of running Curlin on the SA synthetic surface in the BC Classic?

Has anyone read anything where Asmussen or Jackson was asked a direct question about the BC Classic and received a direct answer?

Yes, Asmussen has said several times that Curlin is unlikely to run on synthetic surfaces.

As much as it will stink to not have Curlin in the Breeders Cup, it serves racing right for ruining the game with synthetic tracks.

...and I repeat, CD or BEL should schedule a series of Graded high purse DIRT
races on the same weekend as the BC at Santa Synthetic.

A rare time that racing fans could benefit from the lack of unity in the Racing
industry...
