Justwhistledixie will go off 2/5 with all of the hype around the Derby futures and the West Point money coming in on her (which is the same reason she was the favorite in the futures)

This could be juicy as Dixie\'s not even the most likely winner of the race.

Gattorette is just as fast coming in (with paired 2.25\'s) and is getting 6 pds from Dixie plus the inside post which is key going 1 1/8th turns at GP.  Also, Gattorette is bred just as well or better than Dixie to get the 1 1/8th.

I think we will be able to get 3-1 or 5/2 on her which I would take as a very square price given that she\'s the most likely winner of the race in a small field.

I would prefer that Gattorette had more spacing in between her races as the risk is clearly that she bounces off of the two big efforts so that\'s where this plan could fall apart but I think that\'s more likely to impact her down the road than it is tomorrow.

Hate to be a stick in the mud here, but this one is a 2-horse
race, and I\'ll be shocked if Gattorette goes off any higher
than 8/5.

Agree with your assessment of her as the most likely winner, FWIW.
Maybe single her in the late P4 instead -- plenty of tickets will
have Dixie as a single, and those hit the floor if you are right.

I think we will get at least 2-1.  You can\'t imagine how much of a herd mentality exists with the West Point folks.  It\'s like the House of Representatives and the tax bill last week, doesn\'t matter if it makes sense, just pound it into the ground.

You\'re in good company: today\'s TG Analysis for GP recommended her at 8/5 or more.

I thought my P4 was good 2/3 of the way through the race.

Just have tip your cap to Dixie -- she got it done, and not without a fight.

if she paired up a 2 in that race today, Dixie is very live in the Oaks and she should be good value there as even the West Point money can\'t trump the Oaks pools.
