Next HANA Pool Party: This Saturday At Turf Paradise

Hi everyone, I\'m new to this forum.  
Dean asked me to get the word out on behalf of HANA

The race at Turf Paradise on Saturday is to be determined shortly. This week we are telling HANA members to play into whatever pool they want.
Turf Paradise was selected for three reasons. Their pool sizes for a Saturday are on the low side, so we can more readily measure our impact.
Arizona doesn\'t allow internet betting, so we thought we can bring that point up to show how dysfunctional and backwards the industry is.
And finally, Turf Paradise isn\'t available on TwinSpires so we thought we can make an issue over that as well. One of our major goals is to have all track signals available everywhere.

I think the video is, and it is available on phone depending on the state, but to my knowledge, you can\'t bet on it via the internet on Twinspires.  Correct me if I am wrong.

I wager on the track through my Twinspires account. Never had a problem.

You must live in one of the few states that allows it.  TuP is very clearly a (TO) track on the TwinSpires website if you go to their calendar, this means telephone only wagering available to most players.  Im not sure if other ADWs have this track locked out as well?  

HANA should have thought this thru a little better IMO and not be patronizing any tracks who are involved in ADW dispute as this is awful for the game and even worse for the horse player.

We\'ve listened to the many complaints and objections we had for choosing Turf Paradise.
Consequently we\'ve decided to bet the 6th race at Hawthorne.  Please support HANA by betting the 6th race at Hawthorne this Saturday.

Why patronize TuP with their high takeout rates? Why not give the money to a track that has low (or competitive) takeout rates?

I could stick 500 or a grand into your pool with no problem, but i refuse to bet TuP because of their takeout rates and because they aren\'t treating their in-state residents with dignity and respect. Someone needs to have their backs, no?
