Looking at this guy\'s sheet last week in that race with Pyro I kept wondering \"is this guy on the verge of breaking down?\".  I\'m not a clairvoyant and i\'m definately not a vet, but I think that maybe if this one had actually ever received a break this could\'ve been prevented.  He also had that ugly way of traveling too, with the tendency to not switch leads and stay on his left through the lane.

46 races straight through with essentially no break except for about 6 weeks spring of 08.  Every athelete gets an off season and I think this guy deserved one.  Now, though, it\'s obviously too late.

I had a premonition for a horse a year or two ago at Penn National.  Was handicapping the race with TG\'s and thought to myself, man they are going to kill that horse.

May be a thread on that here somewhere.
