Bobby, betting memories

I \'m sure we all have some betting anecdotes to share about Bobby.  In the 2007 BC nobody picked 6, I had a $32 ticket with 4 winners on it, in the F&M turf my horses finished 2,3,4, Bobby\'s Intercontinental beat me, and 5 winners paid $90,000.  That was the last time I left him off a ticket in a big race.  Half of the $17,000 Pk4 was nice, but $90,000 would have been nicer.

Mine was also a pick six a while ago...I had put together my Pick six ticket and it cost a little over $200 (keep in mind I was working for $10/hour at the time).  I had the cash but I was at the track and I did not want to be there for the rest of the day with a little bit of cash left in my pocket.  The second leg I had two horses one was an Allen Jerkens older mare and the other was a 3yo filly Bobby Frankel just took over the training for after winning her first race easily.  This was the time when Bobby Frankel was red hot so I decide to cut the cost of my bet in half by betting Bobby\'s horse alone.  The first leg won, the Jerkens horse I dropped wins the second leg @12/1.  I stayed at the track to see race after race on the rest of my pick six ticket hit. The pick six returned $23K, I felt like vomiting.  To add salt in the wound, Bobby\'s horse returns 3 weeks later to win a tougher race by about 9 lengths..

Lost - this is really funny because...what other \"recreational activity\" is there where you will willingly spend a day like this where you will end up with...\"felt like vomiting.\"  And then go back the next day.  Horseplayers are...\"special\" people for sure.  Great story.  

RIP Bobby Frankel, Brooklyn guy.  I\'m sure he would have appreciated the story.
