Has anybody heard anything about Biofuel?  Used her in the BC and have been looking for her to return to the races.

She had some ankle filing after the race and so they are giving her time.  Working backwards from the Ashland in terms of what they are thinking for next year as I understand it.

She will go down as one of my biggest disappointments in BC history in terms of how much I had on her and the odds and the fact that I believe she would have been first or second had she not been tackled by Negilee.

Oh well, we all have bad beat stories, don\'t we?

Definitely one of my personal top \" one that got away\" or  \" what might have beens \" of the year ! Not surprised to hear the news on Biofuel after that big BC effort put in on top of that kind of trip  .

If remember , and haven\'t seen the replay , but did see the race -  she got  imo impeaded badly , forced wide and slammed hard enough that it turned her sideways to almost a 45 degree angle in the stretch  .

yeap, that\'s what happened.

The jock on Biofuel literally went after Maragh in the jocks room after the race.

In the Bloodhorse magazine, there\'s actually a great picture of when the horses are crossing the wire, you can see that DaSilva is already yelling at Rajiv just past the wire.  It was quite a seen after the race I was told.

I guess as mad as I was, DaSilva had a right to be even madder!

I had just finally started to sleep well after that toughest of beats ... and now someone had to bring it up ... My wife is tops at making me confront my failures and now the fellow horseplayer ... Kidding aside Bio was they key to my BC ... I do believe I posted prior to the BC about this horse and how to play given a limited bankroll and I beleive it was covelj70 who said you need to pick a horse and make a stand ... Thats what I did ... I cant complain too much as I cashed at I beleive 24-1 in her prior at Woodbine ... Hoopy Halidays to all  !!!
