I have to give it up to the KHRC for prompting a full investigation into why the horse was allowed to run and who may have been at fault. I also love the fact that Mr. Beck basically says he will leave no stone unturned and will take as long as he sees fit. This is what our beloved game needs; \"the police\" of the industry aka KHRC(for KY), have to be ready to step in when we need them!! This is not only for the average gambler, but for the person who has been going to the track since they were little; such as me!!

The only reason anyone even knows about this, let alone that there\'s an investigation, is a) it was the Breeders Cup, and b) the jock said something on national TV. You think if this happened in a random race on a random Wednesday at a Ky track we would even know the horse had not been tested?

Again (and again)-- until all test results are made public we are all in the dark.

And if you drag on the \"investigation\" long enough, people simply forget about it.  I doubt there is any real desire to investigate anything with the board.

Sight-- Right. Historically what racing investigates in situations like this is the best way to deal with the bad publicity. Haven\'t heard \"problem of perception\" for a while, let\'s see if that shows up before this one is over.
