As for the pattern the horse was mid-way back to his top after his first Florida effort, acclimated, and the timing was right for him to keep improving, about 3 months after the big effort. The question was whether that last was an effort since it was secondary top. But overall the pattern is positive--3 efforts (when going a route), a bounce on less than 3 weeks rest and then a left turn, a forward move 1st-time Florida with over a month\'s rest before this race. A speedster that won\'t lose much ground, and a good ML price, it just seemed the glass was half-full and in this case it was.
