RIP Brown Bess

Brown Bess died yesterday at 29.  One of my favorite race horses of all time, saw her race many times in the Bay Area. Clinched an Eclipse Award, the only one for a Bay Area stabled horse, with a scintillating run in the 1989 Yellow Ribbon.  RIP Brown Bess.
