Race Five
6-Secret Circle: Very chalky start to the BC races. That might be OK though if you need a pick six single. I can\'t see how they beat this guy. Seems like a so-so bunch of rivals. I\'m not buying into 1-Seeker\'s dead rail demise theory; he\'ll have to step it way up to tackle Circle, and I\'m also not trusting the sloppy track maiden number he ran either. I did think 4-Trinniberg has some class IMO. It\'s Circle\'s race to lose.
Race Six
2-Dayatthespa: Really like him and think there will be some value, though nowhere near his 12-1 am line. City Zips get a little iffy at distances, but he has some stamina on the dam side. He is my best value play of the day. The Woodbine race was as key as they come, and he ran super that day. I like the rest and freshening. Going to try and beat 14-Somali from the post and the euro filly 10-Katie seems classy, but I have some questions about her. I like 13-Customer Base, but he too is stranded wide. 5-Stephanie\'s Kitten is solid too, and if I like \'Spa I almost have to like Kitten a little, right?
Race Seven
I always liked 6-Switch. I hope she steps up today and gives a good account of herself. 8-Tanda is a live long shot I believe, one of those sketchy figures synthetic/turf now getting dirt. Mitchell\'s been lights out for a while now. It\'s tough to toss 12-Pomeroy\'s Pistol with her figures. She seems solid to me. 3-Turbulent D. is a bit of a question for me. She\'s far and away the fastest in here. I might be an idiot for trying to beat her. Why in the world am I not completely sold on her? I can\'t answer that really.
Race Eight
The most completely wide open race of the day IMO. Good luck here!
Race Nine
2-Stacilita is kind of a no-brainer with her post and figs. 1-Dubawi Heights has to get a great trip, right? Some folks I know are touting 12-Misty for me saying the lasix will improve her performance. That\'s a rough post I think in a 3-turn race. 7-Aruna would not be a big surprise though she can be a little one-paced at times. I was very impressed with 6-Announce and 5-Nahrain as well from watching their videos. Might be best to use the main ones here in multi-race exotics.
Race Ten
I thin 6-Royal Delta is the filly to beat here. She should get a good trip stalking the speeds. I can\'t hold losing to Harve de Grace against her, and the rider (who I\'m not so fond of) moved way too early in her last race (at the 3/8\'s pole) for some strange reason, then she had to back off and try and re-rally. I give her a big shot. I think on the sheets you have to look at 7-Ultra Blend with her last number. The race did fall apart in front of her, and Blind Luck broke down, but it was still a solid try. 3-It\'s tricky tries every time and gets a major rider switch, so how can you leave her out? If Delta doesn\'t run for some reason, you\'d have to think Tricky will pick up the pieces. I think 8-Plum Pretty needs things to go her own way; if they leave her alone on the lead, obviously her chances go way up, but I\'ve never been convinced that she\'s all that. Just my opinion. If her last fig is legit, and it may well be, that might be more of a reason to play against considering a bounce at the longer distance. 1-Miss Match did face males and ran OK late, but her only win came versus distanced challenged horses who had gone on a suicide pace early at Santa Anita, is she really running back to that figure???
Good Luck everyone.
