Memory is failing. Has a 3yo run a negative number like this in second race and moved forward???

Citrus is doing well but he\'s not cranked up
Not primed for top effort tomorrow
Should run well but doesn\'t have to win this.
I know falling sky doesn\'t fit numbers wise so just take this for whatever it\'s worth. He\'s training better than any horse I have ever had coming into this race.
Obviously verazanno at his best is 15 lengths better than the field but we will run a new top tomorrow.
Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Jim you got a shot here but it\'s going to take some race riding..unfortunately it\'s against one of the best in Johnny V...your post puts you in the prime position to keep Verrazano stuck inside behind that other speed and pin him on the rail...Once that horse starts backing up hopefully he shuffles Verrazano back, Victor kicks clear and hopefully Verrazano continues to get hampered as someone comes up and takes the place that you just left..Clear trip and Verrazano is a scary horse...I wish you the best Jim especially since i\'ll have yours on my tix.. Good Luck..

Jim, From an owner perspective, does the way they mow the turf chute at Tampa bother you? Seems like the is at least 1 or 2 horse that take a right turn in every race at the point where the chute meets the main grass course.

Lost. Sounds great. That scenario works for me.
I will be thrilled with a good 2nd today.
Keeps us on pace for where we really want to go.
Thanks alot for the good thoughts.

Yeah. Any of those turf chutes can cause some issues.
That said, we\'ve had good luck on this turf course recently with swift warrior in the stake so I can\'t complain too much!
Good luck.
