sar thoughts

My value plays today
race 5 why not whiskey - forward moving line, proper rest, slight improvement from last takes this.
race 10 - miz ida. even though best #\'s on yielding, she is an improving 4yo, if she can repeat the yielding effort she has a big shot
race 11 - central banker for a bomb. 2nd race off layoff improved on dirt start last year after turf efforts, any improvement could produce a big payoff
race 12 - transparent - never has gone back, 2nd race off layoff, mclaughlin is on fire. if he runs like the rest of barn is he could surprise.

GTLA!

Would love to hear some thoughts.

agree onn miz ida....
the randy morse horse in the stake sprint looks like amust play at the ml of 15-1...not only the fastest going in gets weight and should sit behind the speed...also, the sheriffs horse blew the turn in his next to last breeze for this race just like he did in last race...does the othe speed wanna be outside of him...pace meltdown

i hope i do not curse you guys, but i agree with a lot of your thoughts here.  The Kings Bishop could really light up the tote board with boxcars.  On top of the horses you two have mentioned (which I agree with), I would also throw in the Dale Romans/Zayat horse. Even though its figures are slower, there are only two and moving in the right direction coupled with nice spacing, nice works, and likely a pace beneficiary also.  The horse should be a zillion to one, so if it does end up clunking into the super or tri ticket, it will be very nice (but I have learned my lessons and will also have a small across the board insanity ticket in case he runs and i do not hook it up right).

There is the potential to be alive into the Travers on a monster Pick 4 ticket (ROTW, Mz. Ida, the KB horses we have chatted about).  Aside from the obvious horses in the Travers, I have to say I also worry about the rail horse and the outside horse.

Nice ride by Smith on the Test. Do they pay extra for his services?

What about Romansh in the Travers?  Horse is lightly raced, never bounced.  Looks like he is still learning....only his third race on lasix and only his second try around two turns....if he can manage a 1w1w trip from the one hole, he doesnt have to make another forward move by much to be there.  He had tons of trouble last out; maybe he is learning?  He looks real live to me.  Also, Of the big three (Orb, Verrazano, and Palice Malice), I think Orb clearly looks the best.  Verazzano clearly reacts a lot, his only hope is to bounce and win which aint so easy in a race like this.  Palice Malice looks solid, but that is it....who sees another forward move there?  Not me. Although Orb should run the biggest figure of the three, he has a ton of trip issues if you ask me.  Which comes back to Romansh....slower than these, but very lightly raced, with lots of excuses, and never a reaction point yet.

Boy, could i have been more wrong?  First two legs go to the favorites.  At least I dont have to be unhappy that I am not alive in it anyway.
