NYRA will add a .50 cent pick 5 when Belmont opens Saturday,takeout 15%, no consos, net carryovers. Given the monstrous success the .50 cent pick 5 had in California, it will be interesting to see the pick 5 pool size at Belmont.

My West coast \"buds\" busting chops because Del Mar attendance and handle was better than the mighty SPA.NYRA execs a bit sheepish about it but note the more favorable time zone Del Mar races in relation to the working population of the country.

DRF and Brisnet report SPA had 4,000 people per day attendance advantage and on-track wagering advantage of $1.2 million per day. SPA led in all sources money by $1.6 million per day.

Good save but never thought DEl Mar could show up figs for meet vs last year while SPA would be even modestly down.

Given the enormous edge NY has with subsidies and venues to draw entries from vs what Cali has, big edge to Cali results wise,comparatively speaking.
