While most of you are enjoying the Spa, some of us are stuck in Chicago watching racing fit for Turf Paradise at perhaps the nicest facility in North America.  I thought I had a solid pick 3 handicapped today when I fell victim to \"Smart Money\".  In the 7th race Zibby Do was off a pair and lone speed.  In the 8th Nobel Bird was forging and 10-1 in the ML. In the 9th Start Up was circling back to a new top.  Both horses connect in the 7th and 8th and as I\'m waiting for the 9th I noticed Guest Start opens at 6/5.  He looked better suited for a sprint but they bet him and he sat second off fractions slow enough for a harness race.  of course he beat Start Up who finished a strong 2nd.  I\'m sick of getting beat by 6/5\'s that should be 5-1 and losing off a race with questionable pace which benefits the smart money!  It\'s been a rough stretch, I know we all have stories, just needed to rant!  Good luck to all!!

As one who learned what tbred racing was about at AP - you are correct, it is the nicest track plant in the USA - I feel your pain.
I\'ll always be grateful to the baseball players strike in the \'90s that sent the wife and I to Arlington Park that weekend.

When I went back to look at the race I was expecting to find a horse trained by Alnaz Ali that was bet down.
You lost to a Proctor program chalk  that was  dropping, that was given time off and was working well.
He also figured to get a nice trip.

He deserved to be the chalk.

Keeneland is nicer.

Have to agree if you want to rank racing facilities AP is number one that I have ever attended. TOP NOTCH place with beauty and cleanness throughout with a staff that treats you like your a king when you attend the races. Hard to believe CD owns the place. You def can see that the Duchossois family is still very much in control of AP and not the Corp fools of CD.

Never been to Saratoga so can\'t rate it. Also know lots of people love Delaware Park but once again never been.
