It\'s been another long stretch between posts. This one was hard to write. You are hereby warned. Thanks to everyone who has been clicking through and reading.

Very eloquent piece, Bob, hitting all the right notes, particularly at the finish.

This is another, and in a similar sad vein. About the ill-fated Wigmore Hall, and the poor excuses for human beings who edit the Daily Mirror.

I don\'t want to get started on the subject of national or mainstream news as all that does is disgust and anger me. The programming should be retitled Bad News @ 6:00.

I agree with you in thinking the rag of a newspaper was wrong to run such a story. Small wonder Scotland wanted out. England used to be considered civilized. Of course, I generalize too much. Need to go before I get stupiderer.

There is scant difference  between what used to  be considered pornography , and what is often printed in the dailies.

Since there are no repercussions, except higher sales, this will continue.

I myself rarely watch network news and limit my hardcopy newspaper reading to the Wall St Journal, which rarely offends, unless you are a liberal.
