Gulf Stream R9 yesterday
« on: March 15, 2015, 09:08:47 AM »
Nice looking Tiznow colt named Donworth had been catching the eye in the AM works and showed some ability in his debut by overcoming trouble to win in more or less a hand ride.  Final time just ok, but you don\'t see a lot of colts get stopped like he did heading into the turn and come back to win.  May be a player later in the year and worth watching IMO.

Very nice race despite being butchered by Joel Rosario who is riding like he is in a coma.Dont think the fig will come up too fast as he saved ground all the way and the clocking was just ok for yesterday(80 Beyer)

Would guess half the world trying to buy him this morning for big $$$

Next stop is either a Keeneland allowance or the Lexington according to Motion on Byk today.

I\'ve watched the replay a few times now, and there was all kinds of trouble for many of the runners in this race.  Lexington would be a big, big jump.
