I\'m of the understanding that the 0-2-X is a very positive pattern. Why no mention on this board of the horse (other than dismissive) that appears to have the textbook version of this pattern, with a pretty decent top?

Because he\'d have to improve 2-3 points to be competitive with the top horses in the race & in spite of his breeding, every time you add another 1/16 mile he gets worse. He could hit the board if everything went his way, but he has little chance of winning.  Just to let you know, his Thoro-Pattern is the worst in the race if you haven\'t checked them yet.

I see that now but so then I\'m confused.  What\'s the deal with the 0-2-X? If it\'s so positive, why is the pattern the worst in the race?  Just trying to learn here...

Alright then I\'m waiting for class to be in session. Thought I was on to something. This makes rocket science seem easy so I won\'t quit the day job just yet.

I assume you mean Itsaknockout - who worries me a tad (not winning, messing up all my tickets).  He also worked great with Materiality.

His pattern though is more like an 0-2-Y.  Praying for a bad post so I can simply ignore him.
