One of the worst feelings for a handicapper is to spend hours handicapping and getting your plays ready the night before only to wake up to the sound of rain.

I live a couple of mins from the track and it\'s raining, I\'ll let you all know if it gets bad

 For Elmont... Rain will be heavy until 7:15 (total amount about 1/4 inch)...thereafter,a few showers until 10:00...then a nice day in the 70\'s...should not affect the dirt track (except for maybe a \'wet-fast\' for the first race)...however, the folks in the \'backyard area\' are gonna get wet if they get there early...
