Belmont 12th
« on: June 11, 2016, 06:43:15 PM »
Apparently I\'m on a roll. Watched the 12th on my computer and see that my 3 wins, come back a few minutes later and they have the 8 as the winner. Obviously he got taken down, anyone know why?

Came out into the 1 to make room in the stretch.  TVG talking heads would have left him up.

Thanks for the response. I looked at the replay and didn\'t really see anything. That must have been some very minor brushing.

It wasn\'t minor.  It was real.

But it wasn\'t one of those \"easy DQ\'s\".

Thought it was one of those 60/40 calls.  I thought he might have stayed up, but can\'t call it a bad call.

Thanks for the opinions Phily and Jimbo. It\'s never easy to keep ones perspective when it\'s your horse getting taken down. I was still smarting from the ride Rosario put on my key horse in the Belmont, so the takedown was just par for the course today.
