Saturday Seminar Recap

A field of a dozen or so T-Generate marathoners settled in for TGAB\'s Saturday
seminar which began promptly at 10:46 and wrapped up more or less one hour and
ten minutes later.

In race one Alan was positive on  favorite El Talento,
who will improve off an effort where he looked to be fighting the rider for a
good part of the race.

Mixed messages about second race winner Old Upstart, who had two aluminum pads
(again) but was sent out by accomplished Spa ship in trainer James Lawrence.

In the third race, Alan was positive on odds on TAP fave Theory after he was
informed that one drew in, also liked Reckling, who completed the exacta.

Race 4 AB called King Kranz \"the most likely winner\", but was positive on
eventual winner More Biscuits.

Fifth race AB tried to play Beat the Brownie, calling winner Deeply
Undervalued \"Deeply Overvalued\". AB did like Richmond Street, who completed
the exacta.

Race Six, AB was all about Esther the Queen, but AC Avila\'s first off the
claim Aussie Prayer, clearly fastest off the TGs, won with an impressive burst
under Johnny V. Pretty certain AB hit super here.

Discussion of race 7 basically centered around fact that negative turf numbers
are rare, and Flintshire has gone negative twice.

Race 8 TGAB very high on Captain Moss based on low TGs and a bad 10/1 morning
line (CM went off at 2/1). TGAB also liked Idiosyncratic, who completed the
Chadzacta behind Rays the Bar.

Race 9 TGAB liked the winner AP Indian, trained by former Chris Clement
assistant Arnaud Delacour.

Tenth Race: After nine races during which the seminar attendees were sitting
in silence and immersed in total concentration, the entire student body all
chanted (almost in unison) \"The maiden is the lone speed from the inside and
can not lose!\", though my memory of this is unclear and actually I think this
was posted by some Chasshole well after the race.

The analysis did not have any winners except Flintshire.  Another tough day at the Spa.

Hopefully Jerry will change the karma when he arrives next week.

No Criticism Intended just reflective thoughts.

Regarding Saturday\'s analysis. Sometimes we must read between the lines. First of all, if you haven\'t contemplated the difficulty of doing the analysis the day before give it a try. Changes in the m/l can create a dramatically different perspective at race time.

Race #1
El Talento nearly brought home the ebx. Yet Ancient Warfare did win @ a healthy 5.5/1.

Race #2
Fabulous Kid, Narvaez scratched, Cerro bet down to about even money. Analysis becomes out dated because of changes.

Race #3
Theory draws in. First time starter @ 3/5. Hard to foresee. Analysis picks run 2nd and also 3rd @ prices for $20 ex and $117 tri for those without blinders.

Race #4
Its All Relevant bet down to 4/1 from m/l 9/1. Also Noteworthy Manical bet down to 5/2 suggesting someone knew something. Add in Biscuits and you have the top 3.

Race #5
Undervalued doesn\'t have to mean toss. $32 ex and a $500 tri

Race #6
Esther The Queen m/l 10/1 post time 5/2. Analysis does note win  @ 8/1 up.  Horse failed exacta failed.

Race #7
Danish Dynaformer scratchs yet the analysis gave the cheap $5.70 exacta if you read it looking back.

Race #8
Captain Moss bet down to 5/2. At 8/1 one might have thought you got your money\'s worth but in the real world the ride was odd, did it compromise the horse

Race #9
Chublicious also bet down (thank goodness) Holy Boss ruins what could have been a nice analysis exacta.

Race #10
Many fooled by the do/don\'t of Laoban and Mohaymen.

Race #11
They had 11 races??

I thought it was a terrific analysis. I\'m sure Allen called some audibles as the Saturday Seminar follow-up by Richiebee suggested.
