Japanese Wagering on the Belmont

Does anyone know if that\'s a co-mingled pool? Could affect the board even in a race of this magnitude.
Could mean the difference between 4-1 and 24-1 on Epicharis (I know,he\'s slow).
Thanks,
Joe B.

A toss at any odds? No. A toss as a huge bet-down, inflating the odds on all other horses? Yes.

I\'m curious whether any of the big players are positioned to take advantage of an arbitrage opportunity if Epicharis is much more heavily bet in Japan than in the US. Perhaps the takeout is too large to make anything like that feasible.
I remember when our family used to make some of its Triple Crown wagers in New York and others in California when those two pools were separate.

If such players were so positioned, it would likely be tremendously imprudent for them to post same on a public forum.
