Hit the nail on the head. It was once great fun to match wits with my fellow horseplayers. It is not fun to play against a computer. That goes for the horses, as much as it does for chess and day trading. I got out long ago. My wagering has been nil for years now. I still enjoy watching the animals though. Majestic creatures.

I have found that playing the DRF tournaments a suitable replacement for my wagering $$, I feel sheepish in a way though because these funds probably dont make it back into the handle and thus not helping those who need it to.

I dare anyone on here to tell me where you can find better entertainment value than The Racetrack at Saratoga... $5 admission (less if you buy the pass) and they let you bring in a cooler!

Hope all made it through the storm(s) in good order...

Cheers,

RICH
