Arlington Million

We have perfect weather and a firm turf course for a great day of racing in the Chicago suburbs.  Track management moved the scheduled turf races off of the turf on Thursday and Friday.  It did rain earlier in the week but it’s been extremely dry here.  I’m taking at shot at beating the Chad’s and going with Spring Quality who looks to be pointing to a good effort.  Good luck to everyone!

I most likely saved money on the scratch as Chad ran 1/2.  So I live 15 mins away from Arlington Park.  My lawn and ground around it is like concrete because we haven’t had much rain.  I contend that they intentionally over soaked that turf course which would also explain why the races were moved off of it on both Thursday and Friday.  My question is why would they do this?

It could be someone thought it would be a good idea to have a cavalry charge down the stretch to make for an entertaining close finish.

Seems the Robert Bruce found the one dry hard path. That was some kind of impressive finish.
