  Speaking of which, all three horses that Peaceful Acres helped rescue are improving and doing well. I didn\'t even think one of them would make it, but the dedication and 24hr. nursing that was given them-(volunteers took turns in the barn) has payed off and they are all getting more strong and content each week.

Some rather semi-despicable, yet legal, things are being done to horses every day at every race track. It\'s part of the game and then you have the over the top illegal stuff.
