In what has been a dreadful year on the storyline front for this years Derby who better to step forward and save the day but none other than Nick Hero.

Two years ago his Derby stock was so bad people were calling him Nick Zero.

Now with the early Derby favorite ready to do a little more smack-down in Tampa Nick Hero will downplay it all with his typical awe shucks attitude.

With Calif racing this year resembling a black-hole. Who knows what we are looking at out there. And no other real names to get excited about everywhere else. And even more trainers who seem like they are part of a witness protection program.

It is up to Nick Hero to go into the phone booth change cloths and save the Triple Crown.
