I worked for them in 1988. Rick tells it like it is. Some people can\'t handle that. That\'s not Rick\'s problem.

The outcome of the Belmont validates what the sheets say about BBs chances of winning.One of the problems is the way BB won the Preakness,albeit the ones who skipped the race and waited for the Belmont.Add to that the effect the media \"SPIN\" has on rational thought and the horse takes on an air of invincibility-except to a believer of the sheet numbers

Pathetic is having positive drug-tests for your animals as a yearly ritual.

Pathetic is defending these two clowns.


They got everything they deserved.  Complete and total disgrace.  To put a twist on a line from the late, great Jim McKay, I am thrilled by the agony of their defeat.

From the Chicago Tribune, 6/9:

\"It\'s a competitive game, and Rick is a competitive guy,\" Baffert said. \"None of those guys [knocking Dutrow] have statues with little horses on top (emblematic of Kentucky Derby and Preakness victories).

\"But Rick has won a Kentucky Derby and a Preakness. When those guys have statues, they can talk. I told Rick: \'You won the Kentucky Derby. That\'s the hardest thing. Focus on that.\' \"

I\'m not defending Dutrow\'s methods. Don\'t know how you came to that conclusion.

People usually take \"pleasure\" in things that happen positively. You picked the winner, won lots of money, you know the winning owner, your favorite baseball team wins a big game, you hooked up with a new chick....whatever. You can take pleasure with these things.

Taking pleasure in the misfortunes of others??  A little weak. Some call it being a hater.

It didn\'t break my heart to see BB lose, for the same reasons as you.  But I didn\'t take pleasure, or do cartwheels.
