Anyone know if last year\'s Vosburgh winner Fabulous Strike was injured?  If so what was the injury?

From DRF article about Saturday\'s races at Mountaineer:

Fabulous Strike, one of the nation\'s top sprinters who was scratched from last weekend\'s Alfred Vanderbilt at Saratoga because of a foot injury, may run in the $110,000 Harvey Arneault Memorial at six furlongs. In case Fabulous Strike isn\'t ready, trainer Todd Beattie also entered Are You Serious.

Earlier article describing injury:

According to Beattie, Fabulous Strike ripped off a piece of the frog on the bottom of his front left foot. Beattie said the injury would be similar to \"peeling off layers of skin under your heel.\"

Thanks for the info.  I just had to wonder why he was entered in the 6th at Mountaineer this Saturday.

It sure is a commentary on how slots are changing the game that, on a Saturday afternoon when both Saratoga and Del Mar are running, ESPN will be at Mountaineer.
