I have won more $$$ on this guy in his past few races than any other horse in a while.  Not sure the streak continues this weekend though.  He\'s a beautiful animal with a ton of class.  Perhaps W.S. and Neil think this one is Grasshopper 2.0.  He does want to beat you, which is more than I can say about a lot of the other animals in the race, but won\'t touch unless 9/2+.

I loved Mambo\'s last race and I like that he went faster while carrying more weight than Macho did in the Jim Dandy but.....I don\'t think he will represent very good value here.  He will be the wise guy horse in this one.

I will be using him in the multi-race stuff as I think he has a big shot but I would take Tale of Ekati at 12-15 to 1 before I take 5-1 on Mambo which is what I would guess he will be.  I don\'t think Mambo is 3 or 4 times more likely to win that ToE.

Either way, this is such a competitive race.  We will hear calls of slow slow slow bd three year olds from alot of people but I love this big and pretty evenly matched field.

I\'ve moved up ToE and Col John after the draw, though neither runs like they want 10f. CJ got shut off at the start in the Derby, and should improve off that effort, which puts him close with a 1w/2w trip.

still waiting for the figures, but right now it looks like MiS and CJ, with a little Harlem Rocker if the odds drift up.

That\'s exactly why I put the smiley face there. The whole morning line is laughable.

ToE will be more like 10-1 (not 20-1) and Colonel John will be more like 5-1 (not 8-1). On the other side of the coin, Da\'Tara will be more like 12-1 (not 8-1).

As far as the morning line goes, if Pyro (7-2), Harlem Rocker (4-1), and Mambo in Seattle (5-1) are close to their morning lines, they\'re ALL tosses for me.

Have a feeling Macho Again will be overlooked. Granted, he fell into a perfect set-up in the Jim Dandy, but the flow of this race seems to mirror the Jim Dandy. If the crowd goes crazy for any of the above mentioned, someone will be overlooked. If Macho Again drifts up to 8,9-1, he becomes very appetizing.

it\'s funny how Macho is getting overlooked again.  Pyro had every reason to pass him in the stretch and he didn\'t do it yet Pyro is shorter than Macho in this one?  That doesn\'t make sense to me.  I am not convinced that Pyro wants the extra distance anyway, I think he looses his closing kick the longer we go.

All of this said, in regards to Macho, what are we to make of his acting up and getting loose in the barn last week?  I usually don\'t like horses that start acting all goofy before a breeze or gallop, sometimes a sign that they don\'t want to run.  Reminded me on a different scale of Big Brown acting like a lunatic in the detention barn at the Belmont.  If a normally mild mannered horse is doing well and is ready to run his race, they don\'t usually pull away from the groom and go bananas running around the barn for 15 mins before they can be caught.  Also note on Macho that his breeze heading into the Jim Dandy was very atypical for him in that it was a very fast breeze and he ran his best route race of his career.  His two breezes for this don\'t look anything like his two breezes before the Jim Dandy.
