Interesting video at
www.neworleans.com
(search \"stay put\" and hit video of interview of J. Theriot).
Jockey Theriot, who is not a big talker nor overtly enthusiastic is really high on Stay Put. According to JT, Stay Put is working very well, will appreciate the added distance and should run big.

albany,
It sure would have been comforting to hear JT mention something about
saving ground.

Agreed. However, his concern about being trapped inside is valid and may speak to his confidence (i.e., he feels confident if he only gets to make a clean, even if wide, run).
We\'ll see.

albany,
Hoping for a price first and foremost.I can concede a 3w trip in the second turn
provided ground is saved on the 1st turn.Of course this guy will need pace in front.
good luck,

There\'s wide and then there\'s the parking lot. Perhaps it was an overconfident ride or maybe he didn\'t get the set-up he needed or, more likely, he just wasn\'t good enough.

Albany,
The horse seemed to shy a bit in the far turn.Must have been a car alarm. All in all a very rough run race.Several were jostled/bumped and or shut off, however there\'s really no excuse to lose ground in the first turn when you\'re at the back
of the pack.
good luck,
