Just got done watching a pile of race videos of this bunch, and don\'t see a load of value in the race.

Going with Remand.  Good chance he gets out front alone and I also like the chances of Johnny V plodding along and wiring this lot of deep closers.   I got a hunch he\'ll be fine with the distance, especially if he can get away easy early.     Drosselmeyer will be formidable, but if Desormeaux breaks 4-5 lengths off Remand, he may quickly find himself having to go wide around a few horses.   If he breaks well right behind the leader, it\'ll be a dogfight down the stretch.

Fly Down, who really is an appetizing Belmont Stakes player, isn\'t going to get the pace setup he needs here I don\'t think.

Soaring Empire is the only other one I would give a chance to hit the board.    Carnivore, Turf Melody, Codoy all too slow I think.   Not a very rich race.   Probably will use 2

Win bet on Remand..  Might use Drosselmeyer in my P4 ticket as well.   I\'ll have to see how the rest of my ticket is shaping up.

Carnivore\'s last two make him extremely competitive here, and he drew well. Possible winner at 10-1+.

I have a serious problem with the Wood figs.  If he did come forward in his last, he figures to react badly on 10, 11 days rest.   I can\'t bet, or even use Carnivore as an underneath..    Although I did think Justin Shepherd butchered his last race.. IMO he is a plodder absolutely void of any real speed to win at this level.  Maybe if a war breaks out up front he could pick up the pieces and hit the board in one of these graded events.   I don\'t see that happening here.

I am with you on Remand sekrah. It is forecast to rain in NY today, and I like Remand\'s breeding for the wet as another positive factor in his favor.

IMO the only value in this race is Fly Down.   There should be some speed up front with Carnivore *only about 10 days rest?!* Soaring Empire and Remand.  I think Dros comes up short again.  The other 2 are too slow.  FD will be coming down the stretch late and should have the most in the tank to get by these.  

Im giving FD a 1 out of 2 chance to win this so I will play my bet accordingly and do a big wager to place hoping to get at least around $5 or more in this shorter field. Having Dros come up short to win Il assume either him closing, or either Remand or SE will hold up front for the other place spot. Good Luck to All!

Carnivore, Speed?  What?!

You think this race is gonna go in 24.3/49/1:13 ?

It\'s much more likely IMO that he\'s back in the back with Codoy and Fly Down.  This horse has absolutely no speed when it comes to this level. I would make Drosselmeyer, Turf Melody and Soaring Empire solid favorites to beat him to the first call.

If he goes with Remand, Dominguez will be throwing in the towel before they leave the turn.   Remand can walk faster than this horse.

Fly Down is a very nice horse and can definently get there if things go right up front.  I\'m having trouble seeing it work out for him.

Shouldnt have said \"speed\" but should be somewhere close to the front i would think..  the 3 and 6 are not getting out that quick.. Dross and FD will be back.  Even if hes midpack there will be the other 2 going at it or on the lead and there should be pace to run into.  EIther way Carnivore is a toss imo wherever he may be in the race.

It didn\'t matter when he went 23 and change the first 1/4 into a 30MPH headwind.  Bad call by me.

Zito will have two live ones the first Saturday in June.

i had a feeling that he was goin to be on the lead today after seeing his last race.  there wasnt too much speed in here and with only 10 days off, what else can you try to do to win?  your not goin to stalk or close and win... u might as well gun it and hope for the best.
