Yankee Gentleman showed talent and promise last year but never quite made it over the hump with some failed attempts at streching out and running on turf. He then had some time off and shipped west and was put under the care of John Shirreffs and has really blossomed now that he is focused on sprinting. He absolutely freaked today going 1:07 and change while pressing a very hot pace and then romping home to win easily under an effortless hand ride. With the BC on his new home court, this guy will take some beating in the sprint.
He probably ran a monster fig.
