CT OTB 10/29 Contest
« on: October 26, 2011, 08:00:18 AM »
The CT OTB system has been advertising a VERY low-stakes ($20) contest for this Saturday, October 29.   Included in the advertising for this promotion has been mention of the gratis providing of NYRA and Parx (the two contest tracks) TG figs for the race date in question.  But was unable to confirm this, despite repeated queries to CT OTB personnel.   Can you folks clarify? Tks.

Do we get the data at the OTB or do we download here? It is a great incentive to enter.

not to be a pain in the neck, but this is from Todd Hill who runs the contest, appears to be some confusion

\"Thoro-graph emailed a special offer to its patrons for our event on our behalf. My understanding is that deal (Thoro-graph info on Belmont & Parx’s) is activated on an account by account basis.\"

If I can get this information in digital format I will send to you.

Thanks,

You might ask them how we know who is in the contest.

I was advised earlier to visit the Hartford site (where I registered) to pick up
my package.

Will advise re what goes down there.

You better verify that. Working with these guys is unnecessarily difficult.

Wind in the mid \'20s all day Saturday on Long Island, with gusts into the 40s, with steady rain.   Don\'t hold your breath.
