TVG to buy out HRTV?

A rumor that TVG will takeover HRTV came out of Cali late last night......interesting!

What happens to the on-air talent at HRTV?  It sounds like only 1 network will be in place moving forward.

DRF says some will be offered positions at the new company, others will be offered positions by Stronach and others will be let go.

I read the article.

I was talking about the on air talent, those are the people that we see daily.  Staffers, production people, etc.....I don\'t see them daily on the air.

I want to know if the daily product, meaning who I have to listen to or watch, will change.

BTW, watching Brittany Eurton is never a problem.

What about Derby Coverage? Wasn\'t TVG ruled off of Churchill?

There are some really good people at HRTV who will be a big loss if they aren\'t kept around. Also some of this consolidation becomes a problem if one station is trying to cover 10 tracks at once....

TVG will feature the main venues and HRTV the lesser ones beginning shortly. On air analysts/hosts at TVG will be enhanced by adding the \"best\" of the HRTV on air people. Will be interesting who stays and in what capacity and who gets axed with the obvious redundancies.

TVG and HRTV available in app 52 million homes yet handle struggles with the Clueless clowns at the helm unable to grow the game.

Its amazing that racing can\'t find someone to grow the game.  The NBA and NFL have grown exponentially with the proper leadership (and I\'m not talking about Goodell)

As long as the \"American Royalty\" in Lexington are woven into every board and every decision made in this industry, we\'re going nowhere. Power is going to have to be wrestled from their cold, dead hands.

The positive developments over the last 20 years (such as they are, like rebates) have all come from outside the mainstream industry.
