friday GP race 7
« on: December 30, 2011, 06:40:55 AM »
As I am taking advantage of the free data this week (many thanks), I see a 2YO in this race with a turf pedigree who is essentially a 4YO now making his 2nd start off the break, and who eclipsed his previous best last out.

That is #10 Spoonful, ML of 4:1.

Now, Scootles has better back figs, but it seems to me he went off the reservation in his last two.  Can a 2YO move forward 10 pts to get back to his best?  Or is the TG analysis on this horse due to the trainer change?

I\'m playing this card today too...I don\'t love this race because I can\'t toss the Pletcher horse Passionate Gold and there are quite a few who are close.  No real edge/advantage here that I can see.  Spoonful is a contender, but at 4-1 does not excite me.  I thought Lemon Tiz was a little interesting as a longshot.
