I wonder if he\'s beginning to lose the plot.  First the comments about U.S. racing, now loses Keen Ice to TAP.  Frankly, he seemed to be guessing with that one.

Win percentage and $ per start are down compared to recent years.  He\'s had a couple of high-profile flops in the preps - Go Maggie Go aside.  A win by Brody would be a much-needed righting of the ship.

I\'ll add to your post that I don\'t understand why Romans chose to run both Brody\'s Cause and Cherry Wine in The Blue Grass. Seems in this world of points that splitting them up might have made more sense.Just saying....Ken

Regarding the Romans horses, Lanerie had been on both. Does anyone know if it was his choice to ride Cherry Wine?

On the Dale Romans comedy half hour; formely known as At The Races with Steve Byk the other day he was touting Saez as one of if not the best jock out there. Sounded like he scored a good bet with him on Go Maggie Go last Saturday as he chuckled and denied any knowledge of why she was bet down to 4/1?

Incredibly funny and no holds barred interview for sure.
