If Loaban couldn\'t hold on at 1 1/16 in the Gotham on a very inside biased track when he had the rail all the way around against a fairly weak field, what makes you think he can hold on verses a tougher field at 1 1/8th at Keeneland?
He also gave up a 5 length lead in the stretch in a 1 mile maiden race.
To be honest, I don\'t think he will even try for the lead here. He really isn\'t a wire to wire type horse IMO. In the Gotham he was hard ridden by the jock, whipped actually, out of the gate to get the lead and keep the inside. He\'s more likely to be a natural presser. IMO Zulu, Twizz, Donegal Moon and maybe even Cards of Stone all have more natural early speed.
I can\'t see him running with Zulu early and having anything left at the top of the lane. He\'s still a maiden too.
Been wrong plenty of times though.
