Just got finished watching the replay of the Pimlico Special and Southern Image couldn\'t have been more impressive. He also physically looked good and he is no longer a Rodney Dangerfield in my book. Great training job Mike.
This race got me thinking I was watching the Derby all over again and made me start to think why would things be any different today. Are we going to see a mirror image of the Derby??
One more thought and I\'m really out there on this one, but is this a modern day version of Sunday Silence/Easy Goer with Smarty Jones/Lion Heart. Those two were so much better than the rest of their generation that it wasn\'t even close. I can\'t say that makes this a good betting race, you need to look for value elsewhere on the card, but this is one non-wagering vote that this undefeated Philadelphia Locomotive rolls over the top of this field just like he did Derby Day.
