Derby Week
« on: May 04, 2016, 11:15:42 AM »
I say it here every year it\'s my favorite week of the year next to any in the Spa meet.

A little rain shouldn\'t hurt this play, it could get pretty wet later this afternoon there.

Race 4:
Everything Mark Casse puts out lately seems to get bet,he wins his share but not here. Ran a KO number early in his 3yr old season and has not been the same horse since, the drop and bullet work make him 6/5 in here. The 2nd choice sits squarely on the X of a classic 0-2-X and the 5 horse ran back to a number he reacted to last July taking him 9 months to get back to. We just knocked out the first 3 choices in a 7 horse field.

The 2 horse Planet is consistent dirt or turf and has a very nice sprint # on the dams side. The 3 Ulysses has had only one dirt race his first and was eased. He comes back a new gelding with 2 very nice sprint numbers from the dams side. The 4 Da Money Man, I smell a rat, eased at 3/1 in Indiana in his first dirt try now shows up here derby week. The only one I left out was the VanBerg horse who while moving in the correct direction has an OP his last 3 lines.

I\'m boxing the 2,3,4 exacta and going to include the 7 in the triple.

Good Luck and Happy Derby Week To All,

Frank D.

Da Money Man wasn\'t eased, he lost the rider.

Van Berg\'s runners were running at OP, will be interesting to see if that continues.
