Very curious.
I know The Cliff\'s Edge and Read the footnotes both have 113\'s or so and if their rested may have a very outside shot.
What did smarty shoot yesterday?thanks

I read his beyer was a 118.
I figure Hard Rock Ten either paired his 1 or got a slight new top. With the wide trip , that would mean Smarty ran something in the negative 5 or 7 range. WOW!
I\'m curious, what is that fastest figure given out by TG?

That\'s unreal,his last three beyers were all in the 107-108 range,now a 118?
2nd time Lassix probably didn\'t hurt any either.
Don\'t know the highest beyers, think I saw candy ride with a 130 maybe?

I dont think Candy Ride\'s Beyer was faster than Midway Road\'s 123.
I believe a few years back both Will\'s Way and Formal Gold Beyer\'d out to about 125/126
Easy Goer and Sunday Silence ran in that range as well is my recollection.
I think his highest figure was Secretariats Belmont a 140 something.
By the way, Beyer messed the Derby Beyers up...Jerry got it right.
One last comment on Smarty....you knew he was gonna get better once he got to even weights. He was spotting so much weight in those Arkansas races...2 lengths worth.

The fastest TG fig was by Mineshaft, in a losing effort no less, in the Stephen Foster, a -5.75. Wide, wide trip spotting alot of weight.
