Gun Runner vs Cherry Wine sheets

Looking at C.W sheets and comparing to G.R sheets I see a similar pattern.
Why going into the Derby G.R was expected to move forward while going into the Preakness C.W is not expected to move forward and is to slow..
What exactly does one look for to differentiate?

I, too, see a similar pattern, which leaves me with a similar feeling regarding CW here as I had regarding GR in the Derby: he may very well move forward to a top, but even so, would still likely be too slow to win the race even with a good trip.

Good bet to get a rail trip and Paddy O\'Prado offspring have been cutting through the mud like butter.  Can\'t leave him off your exotics.

Unless there\'s some strong mud lines on the dam side, I would be scared to death of the Uncle Mo\'s in the slop.  It\'s early but most of them haven\'t gotten over it very well.
