If someone wants to do the work, make a list of all the dead turf rail horses, and in two months run an ROI on their first start back.

Friday was questionable as well but I let it go. We just get ground on turns, I suspect you could make this even tighter using info about who was on the rail on straightaways. It seems to be a little less of an issue in the sprints.

If one starts by saying Exaggerator is a consistent slop horse guess his zero is a reasonable starting point.

Hot pace with near constant pressure for a mile or so and Nyquist doesn\'t regress. That\'s interesting.

A horse can literally run through pain and breakdown after a race is over. Maybe that\'s what happened with Eight Belles. That may have been the strangest breakdown I\'ve ever witnessed and maybe the most painful personally because I was very high on that filly. That\'s all preamble for Uncle Lino who I\'ve had my eye on. He may have never felt a thing until the race was over. Though he may have been feeling it right about the time he backed up. Of the pace challengers he was the primary and he lasted the best but for Nyquist. He still hasn\'t thrown a genuine figure, but if he returns sound, I believe he will demonstrate that Preakness Pace was something result altering.
