Tepin goes at Royal Ascot on course rated \"good\", post time 9:30 am. According to Blood Horse, this will be French born J. Leparoux\'s first mount in Europe.

Frenchie undefeated as rider in Europe as Tepin wins tight finish, maybe the Queen offers him a job to stay there......hopefully.

Winner! And with multiple variables to overcome. Straight course, no Lasix, no nasal strip, soft going, jock not as familiar as the locals. Great effort.

Very impressive -- softish turf, beats males w/out Lasix.

Underscores fact that many US runners at all levels of racing probably could race
without aid of diuretics.

Interesting in that Tepin reportedly has bled before.

Good point. Many don\'t understand that Lasix is a potent diuretic that causes horses to urinate out electrolytes like calcium and potassium. Low blood calcium levels cause it to be leeched from the bones and joints causing problems with injuries in the future.

That was some win.  Tough to go there and beat the best European Milers at their own game on their own turf.

She is a special race horse.

As for Frenchie, one can only hope that there is some customs situation where he gets blocked at the border.  But based on the Belmont result, I am not feeling that lucky.....
